Abstract

The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in healthcare introduces challenges related to data security and privacy. This research proposes a blockchain-based secure data sharing framework tailored for healthcare IoT environments. Utilizing a permissioned blockchain network with smart contracts, the framework ensures data integrity, access control, and traceability while maintaining patient confidentiality. Simulation results demonstrate reduced latency and increased security compared to traditional centralized systems. The proposed model offers a scalable and reliable solution for secure healthcare data management in the era of connected medical devices.
