Abstract

The transition to renewable energy is essential for achieving sustainable development and mitigating the effects of climate change. This paper examines the opportunities and challenges associated with large-scale renewable energy integration into national and global energy grids. It explores the role of solar, wind, hydro, and biomass energy sources in diversifying energy portfolios and reducing dependency on fossil fuels. Through an analysis of successful renewable energy projects and policy frameworks, the paper identifies key enablers for accelerating renewable energy adoption, including technological advancements, financial incentives, and grid infrastructure improvements. The paper concludes with recommendations for policymakers and industry leaders to expand renewable energy access and promote a sustainable energy future.
